Capacity Tests
A capacity test measures the battery performance over the course of 5 hours. During the test, the battery is connected to a load bank to simulate usage at the rated load for the battery. Over the course of the test, battery voltages will drop as the stored energy is used. This test can determine the capacity compared the rated capacity as well as identify any individual cells that may be damaged.
The capacity test page will list all of the tests that have been performed for a location in a paginated table. You can search for tests performed by the asset number for the battery. Clicking on the view button to the right of the row will allow you to view the detailed report of the test.
The top of the report lists all information related to the battery as well as provide a button to share this report with someone outside of the team members for the location. Clicking on this button will allow you to send a link to the report with permissions that can expire based on your choice of time limitations.
The report also gives you a visual representation of individual cell performance with a line chart showing cell voltage over the course of the capacity test. Clicking on the labels at the top of the graph will remove the line for each cell, helping you view targeted cells individually.
At the bottom of the report, you will see a table of all voltage recordings for each battery cell over the course of the test.
