Assets

Organize and manage all of your batteries, chargers, lift trucks and charging rack positions and any other equipment under the assets dropdown in the main navigation. Each asset page will allow you to import, add, edit and view details for all assets that belong to your location.

Each asset page provides a list view of your assets that can be searched for with keywords or with an advanced search. You will also find buttons across the top that allow you to create new assets by either importing them from a spreadsheet or manually entering the data for each asset.

Labels

You can create QR Code labels for each of your assets that can be scanned using a QR scanner or the camera of a smart phone or tablet. At the top of the each asset page, you can print all of the labels for each asset type by clicking on the Print All Labels button.

Asset Actions

Actions can be performed on assets to help organize, edit, delete, retire, export data, etc. These actions will be different between asset types, but they can be utilized by clicking on the Actions drop down button to the right of the asset on the list or by selecting multiple assets and clicking on the Bulk Actions drop down button at the top of the list.

Asset Assignments

Assets can be assigned to each other to help you keep up with your fleet. For instance, batteries can be assigned to a certain truck or a charging position on your change out rack. If you are utilizing change outs, these assignments will be done for you automatically during the battery change. If you are not using change outs, you can make these assignments manually.

You can also assign your assets to groups. A group can be anything that the assets have in common, like location, type or department. When using change outs, when a battery is removed from a truck, a battery with the longest charge time within that group will be recommended as the next battery.

Tag Out / Out of Service

Assets can be tagged out of service within the system so you can keep up with assets that need service attention. From the admin section for any asset, you can tag out the asset from the actions dropdown which will begin to log the amount of down-time that is occurring while tagged out. The asset can be tagged back in from the same menu, which would complete the down time record. If a service ticket is created, the down time log will be completed and the asset will be tagged back in when the ticket is closed.

Custom Fields

When recording asset details, you may find that additional fields are needed to support your operation. Each asset type allows you to add custom fields when you import assets or edit individual assets. When editing an asset, scroll to the bottom of the form to see the below:
