Capacity Test

A capacity test can be performed by clicking on the Capacity Test button on the Services Application dashboard. The capacity test page will require you to either scan a battery QR code or manually enter a valid battery number. Once entered, the application will begin the capacity test:

At the top of the screen you will find fields related to the battery and you will have the opportunity to update any of this information as you complete the capacity test. The capacity test is setup in 7 stages:

  1. Received - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell at the battery's current state, without any acid adjustments or equalization cycles.

  2. Start - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after acid adjustments have been made and the battery has received an equalization charge.

  3. Hour 1 - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after the battery has been discharged for an hour at the discharge rate.

  4. Hour 2 - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after the battery has been discharged for 2 hours at the discharge rate.

  5. Hour 3 - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after the battery has been discharged for 3 hours at the discharge rate.

  6. Hour 4 - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after the battery has been discharged for 4 hours at the discharge rate.

  7. Hour 5 - Record the voltage and specific gravity of each cell after the battery has been discharged for 5 hours at the discharge rate.
